In the past few weeks I have been continuing my hobby after for so long! 😊

I realized that I started first crocheting in 2017. At that time I saw a post about bunny toys and it led me to crocheting. The first thing about crochet I love is, it is relaxing and stress relief as you don't have to think about work when crocheting. The only thing you will think about when crocheting is counting the stitch left before the mark. Lols. 😂

So don't be afraid to start a new thing to do and you will eventually put a lot of effort in that moment. I'm still considered learning techniques of crocheting and there are types of crocheting that I still haven't discover yet. I hope by the end of the year I can sell my crochet to others. As for now I had been taking orders to make bunny or bear from my friends. 

This week I have sold 3 bunny bears to my friend. She loves it! And one of my friend request me to do orca whale so I just started to crochet the whale body and fins. Wish me luck! 

 I can still manage to learn and understand the subjects in degree time compare than my diploma time. In diploma time, I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I STUDY. Even in the final examination, I failed at 5 times and I have to repeat the subjects again about 1 year and a half. Why? I considered myself as a hardworking person and I always have a time to study but I didn't have a partner to study with me. My classmate did help me but I still can never understand what they taught me. So I took initiative to study myself. At first, I didn't know how to start, then I found a video on YT but I can't remember the title was. But here's a definitely things I follow to make myself understand the subject.

1. Focus on a subject that you want to study and list all the topic in the subject. Example Accounting. So in Accounting, there are main topics such share based payments(MFRS 2), employee benefits (MFRS 119), financial instrument (MFRS 9), presentation financial instrument (MFRS 132) and disclosure financial instrument (MFRS 7). So there were like 5 main topics to cover.

2. Make notes about the topic. Example, we start off with first topic which is MFRS 2. Therefore make notes about MFRS 2. You don't have to necessarily understand all of it at once. Just copy the note from your textbook and write in on your notebook, your own writings. Highlight the words if you feel that it is important. If you can't understand some word, google the meaning and put a side note. 

3. Watch a lecture video of YT video explaining the topic. Then, watch your lecturer videos or google video that makes you understand about the topic. Based on what you just write in your note, you can finally understand what you just write and the explanation of it. It helps you focus more to the topic. 

4. Refer the past final examination paper from last years or years before. Go to the library or find the question paper about the subject and study what questions usually they ask in the paper. For example,

2021-Limitation of employee benefit

Do note: that sometime the question might reappear again in next paper or sometimes not. But your only options is to include all of it in case it will reappear in next paper. 

5. Do exercise based only on the past examination papers. So based on the papers you have analyzed, answer all the question and repeat if you feel needed. After you had done your exercises, read all the note you have written in the beginning before sitting the final examination. 

If you're studying everyday, you will have time before the final exam and refresh your memory and maybe you can do the final exam without stress. However, if you doesn't have time to study and only have a little time before exam, do only the past year exam paper because you don't have time to read. In conclusion, please study before the final examination approximately a week before. Or a month before the date. 

 It is now 2021 which is my fifth year in my studies. I started my study in 2017 and still continuing my bachelor degree until now. I'm expecting to finish my study around 2022 or 2023. Since the lockdown, my classes were only held in online meeting or google meet. My final examination was also online. It is quite tough for someone like me to balance work and study life. 

As for now, I'm still working fulltime and study part-time. Therefore, I will be working during days and study during night. Since last semester (Jan-July 2021) my sleep time has decrease to 4 hours a day. I will sometimes take a nap during days and skip my lunch. After a while and finished the final examination for the semester, I finally can take a long break to take a rest. But still my sleep time is abnormal. I slept around 4am and woke up at 8 or 9 or 11 am. 

So in August, I try to normalize my sleep time at 10pm and wake up at 6am to do my daily routine. This habit will only last until the beginning of the next semester because I will get busy again. I'll just let the time decide on that. For now I will try to fix and maintain my sleep time at 10pm.

Talking about my study life, it has been 5 years huh? What did I even study in those 5 years 😂 lol. I am a part-time student so there are not many people I knew in 5 years time. I always change classes for every subject and I met new person each semester. Things were never easy because I didn't know what kind of person they are. I took 4 subjects each semester to get the credit hours. There were not many left, there was 7 subjects until my last semester. So I considered that this will my third before last semester. Next semester will be my second last semester and the next semester will be my last semester. 

Now it is currently the semester break for my university. The final examination result will be announced at the end of August. I have expected result in my mind and I hope that I will pass all the subject. In this pandemic, everyone has been stress out including me for not able to go out and refresh. I hope that this pandemic will quickly over and I can meet my friends. That's an update about my degree life. Thank you. 😀
